Program highlights

Day 1 Friday 6 September features author keynotes and conversations (9:00am-5:00pm) followed by Poetry Karaoke (5:00pm-6:30pm) at the Whitsunday Sailing Club.

Day 2 Saturday 7 September commences with the From the Heart: Annual Festival Address by Shankari Chandran and Whitsundays Literary Heart Award announcements, and author conversations at the Whitsunday Sailing Club (9:00am-2:30pm); and then a lively Saturday Sundowner (5:00pm-6:30pm) at Whispers Bar, Mirage Whitsundays and sponsored by the Proserpine Wind Farm.

*SOLD OUT!* 3-day Festival ticket and Saturday day pass no longer includes this event.* Saturday (3:15pm-4:45pm) Big Book Club High Tea at My Rainbow Bakery featuring Sally Hepworth and Kristy Manning, hosted by Karina Kilmore. Tickets were strictly limited to the first 100 registrations. Please contact us to go on a waitlist. 

Day 3 Sunday 8 September has workshops in the morning at the Whitsunday Sailing Club (9:00am-12:00pm) followed by Local Author Long Lunch at the Whitsunday Marine Club (12:30pm-2:30pm).

The Local Author Long Lunch is proudly supported by Bendigo Community Bank Cannonvale-Proserpine and Arts Queensland. The Regional Arts Development Fund is a Queensland Government and Whitsunday Regional Council partnership to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
