Describing herself as a prolific novelist, she has several more works demanding her attention. Her debut novel True to Her Word will be released this year, and her e-books Gunnie’s Last Round and Operation Incapacitate are currently available.
Guilty of being a philosopher and a hobby pianist, as soon as she learnt to type accurately, she fell in love with her hands dancing over a different keyboard. This created the desire to type someone’s book. It has taken almost four decades to realise it was her books that needed typing.
Her well-fed travel bug has taken her across Australia several times and to exotic countries in both hemispheres, although her insatiable appetite for sleek aircraft and fast cars haven’t played a role in these expeditions … yet!
Lorie lives and works from home in Townsville which she shares with two pooches, one piano and a man who enjoys her cooking.
